Happy Bhogi

The month long journey with tales of Sri Krishna’s valour ;
With pure devotion and austerity of Godha, our sailor :
Cleansing whole aura in and around;
With resonation of her pashurams in every sound ;

Sacrifice, charity and austerity, the key elements of her penance ;
Godha maayi instilled values and morals in abundance ;

Her thirty pashurams have sanctified the whole month ;
Invoking spirit of devotion umpteenth;
Those guide lines will lead one to Supreme’s lotus feet;
Let’s just follow Godha maayi who made his heart, her permanent seat ;

When one religiously follows her Divya Grandham ;
One can float in the ocean of Brahmanandam ;
Her nombu will outgrow us from the materialistic desires ;
She has an answer for all the queries that thoughtfully arise :

A key to the abode of Vaikunta bhupathi
Is bestowed in the hands of the better half of our Sripathi;
Her nombu is a pious and ecstatic ride ;
Yielding fruitful result when we truth fully abide.

Thus Bhogi a fruitful yield festival;
Concludes the thirty days carnival ;
Of love discipline devotion and austerity ;
Clearing all ambiguities and getting full clarity;
Her month long austerity and penance ;
The love and devotion in immense ;
Has made her one with Ranganatha this day ;
Thus our source and end lies in Sriranganatha, is her final say .

Happy Bhogi

Devi Godha took to this beautiful pious human form ;
To enlighten the mankind of their social norms .

Teaching the do’s and dont’s in a playful way ;
Her Tiruppavai is a pleasing
and gleeful say ;
Where Truth of life beautifully unveils;
With Lord Sri Krishna’s leela’s and warrior tales ;

Bhogi, the fruitful yield of Devi Godha’s month long penance;
Onsets the celebrations with reverberating obeisance;

With Godha as Andal taking the shelter in supreme’s arms;
Bridging the gap between us and supreme are Lakshmi Narayan in their varied forms;
Guiding us in a rightful direction;
Is our eternal couple , the epitome of perfection;

Happy bhogi

A day, with month long penance, our Godha;
Has finally attained the Supreme yodha, Sri Ranganatha ;

Her tiruppavai pouring in fervour ;
Glorifying his charm and valour;

Supreme’s statement, I am the month margashira in Bhagvath Gita;
When spent in conscious, one can design one’s
Raatha .

It’s time to enjoy the fruitful yield;
Of the seeds that are sown with dedication in any field ;

As Godha Mayi says, his mercy shall always shower upon those;
Where his Gita directs one to compose their life, in either poetry or prose.

Devi Godha finally attained the supreme;
Showing the path of Austerity to reach ones dream.
Saying anger, desire and ego when shun;
Life will be ecstatically super and fun .
Gratitude and sacrifice will scale one to new heights;
Like Andal one can melodiously claim their rights.

The only life which follows rules and norms;
Let’s respect this boon of human form.
We chanced upon an other turn, to witness the bhogi fire;
Let us offer our obeisance in this most blessed attire.
To the Krishna, who descended in human form;
For the Mother Earth and her beings reform.

Hey Krishna thou are the sun;
Thou are the moon;
Thou are the time;
We are mere puppets playing in sublime.
Thou are our only guide;
Always on the righteous side;

Thy Gita is the wholesome life science;
Life just goes in understanding its nuance.
Give us the strength to perceive and imbibe it;
We are awaiting for the torch of knowledge to be lit .
