Salute to the
Prakriti bestowed on every element of nature ;
We bow down to the Vikruthi the multifaced aspect to nurture .
Trikalagna an embodiment of knowledge of past present and future;
Our Brahma Vishnu Shivatmika is the source of each creature;
Imparting knowledge is our Vidhya ;
Personification of gratitude is our Dhanya ;
Preaching always to stay true ;
Our Hiranmayi shines in golden hue;
An embodiment of virtuous qualities;
Discretely tried and tested abilities;
Pious, serene and luminous form ;
Personification of kindness so surreal and calm ;
A synergy of energies is our Navadurga ;
The burden of this universe is on our chathurbhuja ;
Our Shivakari is an auspicious wholesomeness ;
Our Satya is an epitome of truthfulness.
Our Vimala is pure and clean ;
Her presence is always prestine and green .
This Buddhi the wisdom reads our flyers;
Our Deetya answers our prayers.
Vasuda the Goddess of Earth ;
Our Padmodbava chose lotus as her place of birth ;
This Padmamukhi has lotus like face ;
Her compassionate form
will put one in solace.
Our Padmapriya who is fond of lotus ;
Will lift one from all thats ambiguous .
Our Padmakshi with lotus like eyes ;
Oozing compassion and love is all set to entice ;
Our Padmahasthe with her lotus like hands;
Ushers the blessings like magical wands ;
Caring and protecting the species so diverse.
Is our Lokamatha the mother of universe ;
Our mangala’s glance will set auspiciousness .
This Sarvaupadravabarini will ward off any inauspiciousness.
Our preetipushkarini is bestowed with eyes that please ;
Her glance will make any unhappiness cease .
This Chandravadana with beauty of moon :
Is Yashaswini draws fame and fortune.
Devi Jaya the Goddess of victory;
Is Daridranashini destroying all poverty.
Our Adithi is radiant like sun ;
Yet this Chandra is as cool as moon ;
The Goddess of purity is our Shuchi ;
With speech like nectar is our Vachi ;
Our Varalakshmi is on a spree of granting boons.
Let’s please her with righteousness this monsoon .
Hey Devi ward off all our insecurities;
Cleanse us from all impurities;

Let’s welcome the embodiment of purity;
The dispeller of ambiguity;
An amalgamation of trinity;
To wade us through any obscurity;
With coolness of the moon in compassion;
Energetic effulgence of the radiant sun;
Epitome of endurance is the mother Earth;
Nurturing the universe right from birth;
A swiftly deer like lady;
To cut through all paths shady ;
Emerged from churning of the ocean;
The source of everyone’s ambition;
The austeric piousness residing in Vishnu’s chest;
Charming the world with her splendid zest.
A treasure of serene wealth;
Will bestow upon the soul in good health.
Let’s make our foyer clean and green;
For she enters where her supreme’s words reign;
Lotus petal eyed beauty ;
With glance of compassion and tranquility;
Spreading opulence and grandeur;
In the abodes awaiting her to appear.

Happy Varalakshmi vratham 🙏
The foyers are decked with hues of happiness;
All conscious efforts are made for piousness;
For she dwells in place that’s clean and green;
Were in only goodness and kindness reign.
She pervades in all that’s pure in nature;
She bestows in those hands that are eager to nurture;
Steps into all those peaceful abodes ;
Where the energy and vitality grows in multiple folds;
The coolness and radiance of the mother moon ;
Brings in tasty succulent grains as boon.
Making her presence felt every where;
With her grandeur and opulence to share.
Thus entrances are adorned with mango leaves and marigold;
Colourful Rangolis beautifully stand bold .
With fragrance of incense sticks and varied flowers;
The ambience is set for those serene divine hours.
In resplendent attire
Mother Lakshmi is adorned ;
Draped in silk, with turmeric and vermillion.
Celebrating her abundance is with the sumptuous naivedyams;
Sharing their happiness amongst them are ladies with their Tambulam;
Bless us oh Devi, with health, wealth and prosperity;
For years to celebrate with the same unity ;

Flowing silks in vibrant colours;
scents of varied fresh flowers;
Drenched in those monsoon showers;
Spent in marathon are these beautiful hours.
Decked is each abode with leaves and flowers;
Beautiful rangoli set in early hours;
A day of beautiful hustle bustle ;
In the midst of hush hush and rustle.
With mother Lakshmi at her splendid best;
Awestruck are those onlookers, in zest.
Lady of home is all set;
with rituals and slokas booklet;
To recite the mantras, and appease her deity;
With these rituals being her ancestral treaty;
Her content in doing so, finds no simile.
Because it’s for the well being of her whole family.
A sumptuous naivedyams are then spread;
With utmost love and devotion are those prasadams fed.
It’s the time when Devi ushers, us with health, wealth and prosperity.
Wholesome blessings pour in from goddess of fertility.
A day, one could feel Devi’s presence everywhere;
Immersed is each one with ecstasy in the festive glare 🙏
